The Arts Building
Part of a reinvigorating redevelopment of The Arts Building – a 40,000 square foot former picture-frame factory in Finsbury Park, London, reimagined for the creative, arts, tech, and innovation sectors. Working in close collaboration with art consultants Common Room Projects, Katy was commissioned to design and install a striking, 20m-long, site-specific mural for the entire third-floor corridor.
A site-specific, large-scale artwork that integrates seamlessly with the aesthetic of the building’s internal and external architecture – all while retaining a sense of playfulness and originality. The mural serves as a vibrant focal point, celebrating the energy of the community while creating a memorable, engaging experience for tenants and visitors.
