These small silkscreen prints on paper began life as a series of photographs taken from a train between London and Crewe on a misty December morning.

The series explores landscape as a site of quiet observation and reflection. Devoid of human presence, the series is concerned with atmosphere rather than description, aiming to capture a fleeting sense or feeling - capturing the transient beauty in our surroundings.

Although created in series, each work remains unique. All works are hand printed by Katy in South London on 280gsm Arches BFK Rives paper, 21x28cm.
